• How to Claim:
  • You can apply for CCS through your Centrelink online account linked to myGov. You’ll need to provide details about your family income, child care usage, and other relevant information.

Starting from January 1, all children enrolled in BlueBerries Childcare in Queensland will get 15 hours a week of free kindy . This initiative aims to give every child a strong start to their education. Here are some key details:

• Eligibility: Children must be at least 4 years old by June 30 in the year before they attend Prep.
• Program: Kindy is a part-time educational program, offering 15 hours per week for 40 weeks per year.
• Settings: The program is available in both sessional kindergartens and long day care services.
• Teachers: The program is delivered by qualified early childhood teachers.

This initiative is expected to save families around $4,600 per year3 and benefit approximately 50,000 children.
